Is it madness to accomplish a shoot at Pike Market?  Yes.  I've seen it tried before, and I've seen the failures.  The crowds are ruthless, and there are policies against shooting there, especially if you have any "commercial" intent.  Luckily the latter wouldn't be a problem.   So, trying to beat all odds, I had the overzealous idea of starting at 7AM.  I arrived to meet Andy & Hearting when the stalls were already being set up, and the fish was just coming in.  FAIL!!!  So we had to improvise, and make the best of what we had.... here goes nothing. 

Time for a break from all the lens review madness. I'm happy with the Tamron OK? Let's get back to some 85mm action with Mark's headshots.

Meet the Nines.  When I was asked to do another shoot for this party band, I was stoked.  I wanted to do something entirely different from our first shoot.  I wanted to go for more drama, and more lighting, and mood.  The first shot here was done using available light.  Read on to see a few of my favorites from the shoot.
