Details - Chris & Courtney Wedding
Another Mademediaphotography wedding, only this time, it's raining. Yep, we travelled nearly all the way to Portland, and were greeted with fog and rain for Chris & Courtney's wedding at Anderson lodge. I'm greatful I was entrusted with this gig which obviously brought its own challenges. Needless to say, I also forgot all my lens hoods, and wasn't entirely sure if my flash triggers were going to fire in the rain. But like all things, if you close your eyes and clench your fists hard enough, it might just work out... While wedding photos are supposed to be bright and cheery, I kinda liked some of the dark, brooding images the rain was able to create.

This is one of my favorite images from the wedding, and I love the feel of the dark haunting forest around C&C. Thanks for trusting me enough to get wet!

This is how you hide under somebody's armpit and shoot.

Taking advantage of some great light out on the porch. It's cold out here!

But, the details look great. Hey, that's what this blog's about - the small things.

I don't know why, but I love this "getting ready" shot. It's not traditional, it's unplanned, and it's real.

But she is ready, and looks great!
